Gerry Michaud Jr. is the man behind Big G’s Deli, a low-key sandwich spot in Winslow, Maine, not far from Colby College. Gerry has been feeding locals since 1986 when he opened his deli and serves up some of the largest sandwiches you’ve ever seen, thanks in part to his own ingenious quest for the perfect sandwich bread, which he makes at the deli.

Permanently closed, Owner retired, sons decided they didn’t want to carry on the business, apparently things never felt the same after they lost most of there employees during covid and had to get new ones after. It’s very sad, they were so good and unquine, don’t think I’ll ever find another sandwich like it.
I would love to have been a customer, sadly, most mom and pop businesses are gone. Thanks for the update.
