As a Kansas Citian the only bottled sauce I buy is Gates. Not sweet, very spicy and vinegar forward. Delicious on everything.
I’m surprised that Joes , Slaps and Q39 weren’t included!
KC native here, AB’s is my favorite, although i grew up on Smokestack, which became Jack’s Stack. Its a close second
Show the ingredients .. chemicals , sugar artificial smoke flavors calories ( per bottle )
They didn’t show the ingredients to Gate’s sauce:( I have to give props to LC’s BBQ ingredient list because they were the only ones not to have high fructose corn syrup or modified corn starch or the bs:)
Love me some Gates Bbq though:)
Don’t underestimate LC’s is my go-to spot for ribs. Keep the windows down and don’t run the AC when transporting barbecue
About the only KC style sauces I like are Rib Rack Cider and Sticky Fingers Kentucky Bourbon. I prefer Carolina vinegar “sauces” over any other styles.
