    You’ve gotta feel sorry for Donnie. He’s a frightened boy. He’s done bad and is fighting desperately, the only way he knows, to stop the inevitable. So he lies, denies and accuses, insults, complains, sues and threatens. He can feel his control under fire and his remaining perception evaporating, more and more uncertain of his political and social survival, knowing that his defences will be inadequate.
