As of 5:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, September 3rd, there is still no verdict in the Lindsay Clancy trial, but today produced some major developments. The biggest development was an apparent dispute involving one juror. After roughly 35 hours of deliberations over six days, Judge William Sullivan brought jurors in individually and spoke with them at sidebar. The reason became clearer afterward: according to defense attorney Kevin Reddington, the jury foreperson had reported that one juror was refusing to follow the judge’s instructions concerning reasonable doubt.
