An outbreak of diarrhea caused by the parasite cyclospora has risen to more than 3,000 cases in Michigan and Ohio. As of July 10, 31 states have reported cases to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, although it’s not clear whether they’re all part of the same outbreak. Federal officials’ version of what led to the fatal shooting of a man in Houston during an immigration operation this week doesn’t match that of three men detained during the incident, an attorney who spoke with them says. Israel shared intelligence with the United States that Iran had recently devised a new plan to assassinate President Donald Trump, two sources familiar with matter told CNN. One of the sources said the warning came this week.
