Most of the world’s marble and travertine comes from Turkey – the world’s top exporter of natural stone. But even though the country has been mining for thousands of years, waste heaps are still piling up, and mining companies are struggling to handle all of the excess stone. We went to Turkey to see how the country’s natural stone industry became a $2 billion business, and what the costs to the environment really are.

I started trading to pay bills.
No other source of income.
Do or die.
Now I make about $400-$500 per day on small pre-market moves. Yes, I trade the trend on the 5 minute chart using 9 EMA and VWAP. I learned the hard way how to take a small profit. It’s ok to close a small trade and be done for the day. it’s all about the psychology. When I stopped trying to turn a $300 trade into a $1,000 trade, I started winning.
Thank you Agatha for the regular profit and update
God bless you
How..? Am a newbie in investing, please can you guide me through on how you made profit?
One of the smartest decisions a beginner trader can make is finding the right mentor. Having someone to provide guidance, share experience, and keep you accountable can help you avoid common mistakes. Personally, I have benefited greatly from Agatha mentorship and have gained valuable knowledge along the way.
Wow, I’m shocked that Agatha was mentioned here, she is a remarkable individual whom has brought immense Positivity and inspiration into my life
Big thanks Agatha, I really appreciate her. She’s one of the smartest and most supportive mentor I’ve ever learned from. Her mindset and the way she explains things really helped me a lot😊❤️
Hi. I am an economics student from Türkiye. I want to say something about the history of sectors and manufacturing in Türkiye.
We can go back before the 1940s, to the old empire days. Actually, the empire had an early period for these sectors starting around the 1400s or even earlier, and these sectors developed over time.
When we come to the 1700s, Ottoman mines and industries exported more products. They exported to Europe, Russia, and Asia, and they didn’t just sell raw commodities—they sold manufactured products
In the 18th century, Ottoman exports continued to grow. They sold to Britain, France, Russia, Iran, and maybe even China. They were among the biggest economies in Europe during that century.
When the empire fell, these sectors lost their abilities. For me, Türkiye’s most successful initiative was trying to grow these sectors again in the modern era.”
The point of these stories in Western media is always put a negative spin on their reports about the Turkish government.
All around the world they prioritised the mining industry with a lot of concessions and less regulation but they still have to do the mandatory dig at the Turkish government. It is like a legal requirement for Western media companies to do so regardless of what that government accomplishes.
this video is neat and all but don’t lie to us about the safety. those hardhats and vests and stuff were all brand new. I sincerely doubt those employees have ever had a hard hat before this was filmed. Also, they meet at the cafeteria to eat their slop to “connect” ok. the one guy saying the environment is important but he’s benefiting from the government fast tracking permits. ok yeah not believable at all.
Having worked as an architect in this field, I am well-acquainted with the industry’s realities; seeing what is presented in this video, I realize how embellished the account is and that the true nature of the work is misunderstood—it seems the videos you produce for other sectors fail to reflect the truth as well.
Wonder where all that contaminated cooling water goes off… ah yes never mind
Kindly check your camera lens was damaged.
Also we like to invite you in Indian quarry the “Makrana Marble” if you have plan let’s know.
Wroker safety in Turkey? LOOOL
It always cracks me up when jews report on other countries and their supposed waste. With literally no exports they make it their job to criticize and insert themselves into everyone else’s business.
What a bunch of well poisoners.
My father was a marble setter for 25+ years. Love seeing the rock quarried and brought to installation. It’s beautiful material, regardless of the process of how it’s obtained. It’s not like the business of war or worse, politics ffs
Turkey needs that 2 billion
as someone who is working in mine for last 3 years, i can really say Turkey mining companies are great to work with.
Those “scraps” would make great bookends, drink coasters, cake stands, nightstand tops, statuary, etc. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
