California’s Most Famous Fish and Chips Is Made From Shark — Family Food

Andria’s Seafood is right on the harbor in Ventura, California, and it’s been there for more than 40 years. Serving up fish and chips, french fries, clam chowder, and all sorts of other seafood specialties, Andria’s Seafood is an institution. Started by Michael Wagner, Andria’s father, this restaurant has been a staple in the community for decades. The restaurant uses angel shark as their most popular fish in their fish and chips. Of course they offer halibut and cod too, but their shark is surprisingly good eating; it’s mild and flaky. Over the course of this video, you’ll get a sense of how this old school restaurant keeps it old school.
