The U.S. is NOT America. The United States is IN America. There are 36 American countries and the U.S. is just 1 of them. Canadians and Mexicans ARE Americans. In fact, Mexicans are more Americans than our white ancestors that emigrated from Europe. Canada owns 8 locks on the Welland Canal that connect Lake Ontario to Lake Erie, plus 5 Canadian locks on the St. Lawrence Seaway and USA owns only 2 on St Lawrence Seaway…the exit to the Atlantic! Guess who can create chaos by shutting down even just one of the locks 😊
