On August 1, 2024, 30-year-old Spencer Irwin was found dead near a loading dock in Fresno, California. He was discovered alone. No clear cause of death.
Initially, investigators assumed there was nothing suspicious to investigate. But they were wrong.
In this video, Ashley Flowers and Brit Prawat uncover the case of Spencer Irwin, a story that had never been publicly reported, and the questions his mother, Kelly Irwin, refused to stop asking.

They explore Spencer’s last known movements on July 28, 2024 in Fresno, California, the timeline leading up to his death, why no full autopsy was performed, the surveillance footage that may show suspicious activity near the scene, and the key individuals connected to Spencer in his final days
As Kelly began investigating on her own, new details emerged including a potential sighting of a vehicle entering the area where Spencer was later found, missing personal belongings, including his phone, conflicting accounts about where Spencer was supposed to be, and evidence that may have been overlooked in the early stages of the case
Now, with new information and renewed attention, investigators have reopened parts of the case.

This is so horrible and I feel for every family who has to experience this. I will say, as a California native who has lived near Fresno, I would not feel comfortable walking around at anytime in Fresno. The amount of transients and gang activity there is insane.

Living in Fresno taught me 100 ways to get away with murder. Hang out with the wrong one? You die when they do. They don’t die when you do. This city has ate souls. Be aware when you land in Fresno. We seem sweet. But boy, are we hungry af.
