As one of the girlfriends in the final group of seven, leaving just before the Girls Next Door era, Izabella reflects in this book on the benefits, drawbacks, and misconceptions about living as one of the Seven Girlfriends of Hugh Hefner. I’m highlighting anecdotes and pointing out some differences in what Izabella tells us in this 2006 account, versus what we’re hearing more recently from her and others about this time at the mansion.

I actually love these! I feel like H&B are the main ones everyone knows from playboy and we’ve heard about these other women but don’t know much about them or exactly who’s who. You’re putting the pieces together and I’m here for it. Would love to see more of these – perhaps the other “mean girls” and also all the main GFs along the years. Maybe also the Shannon twins & Crystal Harris. I feel like their time there was all very unknown once the cameras left

She made herself sound like such a bitch in her book like she thought she sounded cool and funny and she really just sounded awful. I also don’t believe she didn’t have to join in the bedroom routine because Hef thought she was smart. Hef didn’t just let women be girlfriends with all the perks without sleeping with him.
