The Jennifer Pan case is a textbook example of how destructive family systems can be. Jennifer is a victim of high control parents who demanded perfection. She sounds severely enmeshed with the parents, maybe emotional incest applies too, and fought back first through lying and finally through violence. And she does want to admit that she needs help. She will remain dangerous until she gets help for the abuse her parents inflicted. Abuse can create murderers.
