Check this out: I met Aries in NY back when I worked for a comedy radio show….not gonna name it …but i introduced Aries to the goat Patrice O’Neil in 2003… Aries already knew him and the respect for these two funniest truth telling super high intelligence was next level…Aries was nothing more then hilarious….honest…courageous…..does imitation on a Eddie Murphy level…… saw him again back here in Los Angeles and Aries was destroying every room he played at! He remembered me outside the comedy store and said i was funnier then most of these dopes…so he gave me the courage to do open mic…..did it 5 more times… and even middles at the Icehouse …….he was a stand up guy….lol no pun intended……he is very persistent and when he wants something like an acting gig he goes full terminator to get it and he sometimes does…the reason he isn’t on an Eddie murphy level is his drinking…hell we all hit the bottle…makes us funnier but then it makes us angry……. He is extremely talented…… I saw The Wayans and they are AWFUL ON STAGE! They stink! They owe everything to their talented 2 brothers Kanan and Damon Wayans! Without them Shawn amd Marlon would be telemarketing…..their stand up is TERRIBLE! I love Aries but he is very insecure and thats why he drinks..and says stupid stuff that he regrets..trust me…he does….. he has a permanent resentment for boozing up after MadTV……. He was the next Eddie Murphy! We had breakfast at 4 am at Dennys in Hollywood with Jaime Kennedy and it was like a sketch show! Very talented man……just chill o the sauce my brother…but again Shawn stinks on stage! Facts…..peace …..
