Geri’s announcement to leave wasn’t the ‘end’ of the Spice Girls. They continued for 2 years, albeit in a lesser public capacity as they started balancing solo releases. They disbanded quietly in December 2000.

@alishamarie2222 Definitely. To be honest, that’s most journalists who can’t discern the subtlety of facts. They all think the Spice Girls ended the moment Geri left, and the girls followed their ’98 tour with a baby-related hiatus.
I literally said the same thing…. I would have LOVED to know her outlook on the Forever. VB was so proud of that album.
@Louisjcx I don’t know why most journalists just ask the typical, run-of-the-mill questions. I suppose it could also be the case that the topics of discussion are pre-set by a celebrity’s PR team prior to an interview. Victoria’s interviews have strictly been focused on her beauty brands for the last 15 or 20 years. In interviews, she has never discussed her solo career nor the Spice Girls music, including the third album.
