After a little less than 10 hours of deliberations, an Alaska jury returned with a guilty verdict in Zarrius Hildabrand’s murder trial. Hildabrand was convicted of second-degree murder in his wife, Saria Barney’s death. Hildabrand shot Barney in the head and disposed of her body in a drain pipe. While Hildabrand claimed that Barney took her own life, he was caught on surveillance video purchasing several items, including hydrogen peroxide and a 96-gallon trash bin, which he used in an attempt to cover up the murder.

At first i waa like he will be not guilty on all charges thank goodness hes gping away poor family im sorry for what their gping through
I can imagine he is glad it is only manslaughter . What a sad waste of two young lives. Moral here is not to get tied down to young, let alone married when you both have great careers. Also, do not have GUNS in your homes. Bad move.
2nd degree murder, not manslaughter. Also the moral of the story is not to murder people, has nothing to do with getting married young.. plenty of people get married young and yes go through issues like many others do, but still choose NOT to murder their partner 🤦🏻♀️

He didn’t seem shocked at all.. he knows what he did. He hadn’t shown much emotion throughout this trial. But everyone is different.
Right verdict.
I guess the jury decided he didnt have time to form intent. Perhaps he was passed out drunk, she woke him up after finding the messages and he just reached for the g@n? But he still has to locate it which seems like enough for intent to me.
