India the home of marijuana still harasses it’s citizens for marijuana due to U.S pressure to change laws on “drugs” in the 1980s like the draconian NDPS Act of 1985 which effectively criminalised marijuana although it’s associated with worship of Shiva and is a consecrated material.

The fact republicans are setting up a field goal for a dem to kick into the legalization end zone is wild. This is the first time in US history that one party is willing to loser power over such a trivial no brainer of an issue. They put it to schedule 3, dems legalize it like a big majority of the country (including republican voters) want. Mid terms will be brutal for the republican politicians against this. I know so many red voters willing to vote blue over this issue. It’s kind of wild when I think about it. All over a plant that’s illegal in only 6 states. Everywhere else has at least medical, but the majority of the country wants full legal.
