What a great Fourth of July in Washington DC!. The president’s speech focused around the historical flags and individual veterans who came on stage — most of whom were over 100 –and what they had done. An exception was Francis Scott Key’s great-grandson, an Army major, who brought out the flag that flew over Fort McHenry when the Star-Spangled Banner was written. Can’t get more patriotic than flags and veterans! What a fine history was displayed!
The fireworks were wonderful, and everybody there was dancing and singing along to the music by service members in uniform. Little kids, fathers holding up their children, young couples hugging. Really a beautiful 250th!
There won’t be a 300 year anniversary , It’s over for America , this place is on life support , we’re just watching it crumble from within
