Less a reference to the 1939 film but it dawned on me watching For Good the distinction between Glinda’s wands. When she’s a child, it’s a glass sphere representing a bubble, the oily spectrum of light she aims to bring to the world. Her training wand that Morrible gives her is like an ice pick, and her wand as Glinda the Good looks like a bubble being burst frozen in time. The symbolism in these props just floored me, I completely understood the storytelling going on within them and I just adore it.
I do remember the film Beetlejuice , when Otho said she was upset that someone has dropped a house on her sister . Was he mentioning Elphaba ?
How about addressing the speculation about who Elphaba’s real father is?
7:48 the title of the movie is just 1 word (like wicked)
