The TARDIS arrives on the coast of northern England in the year 1066. Exploring, the Doctor discovers that one of his own people, disguised as a Monk, plans to change history by wiping out a Viking fleet, thereby relieving King Harold of the task and enabling him to defeat the forces of William of Normandy at the Battle of Hastings.

I love the end with the faces of Steven, Vicki, and the Doctor, pixelated in space. I wonder why the show did that. I wish they’d try something like that again when a series is ending.
A shame he had to shave that beard, was a nice look
