The Lazarus Effect (2015) is a science fiction horror film directed by David Gelb. A group of researchers, led by Frank and his fiancée Zoe, develop a serum designed to bring the deceased back to life. When an experiment goes wrong, Zoe is accidentally killed, and in a desperate attempt to save her, Frank uses the serum on her. However, as she returns, she exhibits terrifying new abilities and an unsettling transformation that spirals out of control.
