A spate of mysterious deaths strikes miners in a small Welsh village, their bodies glowing with a pulsing green light. UNIT is dispatched to investigate and the Doctor and Jo discover that the mine workings are infested by giant maggots. Suspicion falls on Global Chemicals, a nearby chemical plant whose uncooperative director raises further alarm. As tensions rise, the Doctor must unravel the deadly mystery lurking deep within the mine before it’s too late.

Professor Jones is a creep. Was it intended or not? Also I wish Jo and Brigadier talked about the oughts and the CAN’t alone together .
I absolutely love that the 3rd Doctor can’t use Venusian Akido without loudly announcing that he’s using Venusian Akido, often after the opponent is already unconscious hahaha.
I honestly think Jo is the first companion that the Doctor felt deeply for– meaning, he didn’t wanna see her go tbh.
