I was reading all the comments and learned about the passing of May Elle. I am so heartbroken. I so enjoyed all her recipes and videos. Forever rest in peace.
I learned about Elle’s passing the day it happened, which made me very sad because she was one of my favorites on ATK. I make several of her recipes, and this is one that I especially like.

I only wanted to make two servings and have it with linguine, and so I used 3/4 pound of shrimp and used a 10″ pan with high sides. I added the linguine to the pan when I added the shrimp back to the pan at the end, and I had to add some salt to taste. I should have added some more chili flakes, but instead of chili flakes, I use chile de arbol that I cut into flakes. I used two chilies in this recipe. I used 1/3 pound of whole wheat linguine, but next time I will add half a pound, as there was enough sauce for that.
I love this recipe! It had such great flavor and it was super easy to make. Thank you.
