Questions swirl over McConnell’s 3-week hospitalization 0 (0)

Questions continue to swirl over Mitch McConnell’s health status. The Republican senator has remained in the hospital for more than three weeks after being admitted for undisclosed health issues. The Senate’s top two GOP senators, Sen. John Thune and Sen. John Barrasso have spoken individually to McConnell, according to aides. McConnell was admitted to the hospital on June 14. McConnell remains hospitalized after being found ‘unconscious’ at DC home 0 (0)

Hellbender Newsroom’s Olivia Krauth joins LiveNOW’s Alexandra Goldberg to discuss Sen. Mitch McConnell’s health status as he remains hospitalized. New reports indicate the Kentucky senator was found “unconscious” in his Washington, D.C. home last month before being taken to the hospital. McConnell, 84, has been absent from the Senate ever since. His team put out a statement on Thursday: “Senator McConnell appreciates the outpouring of support he’s receiving while he continues his recovery in the hospital. The Senator continues to improve, and is working closely with his staff on Kentucky and Senate matters while the Senate is out of session.” [See More…]
