LA Journalists Die in News Helicopter Crash: Veteran Reporter Bursts Into Tears Covering Aftermath
Two journalists for NBC4 in Los Angeles died in a news helicopter crash on Tuesday while covering a deadly bus accident. The fiery tragedy unfolded live on the air with anchors Colleen Williams and Jonathan Gonzalez, who reported losing contact with their flight crew. News veteran Robert Kovacik, who was on the scene, burst into tears when he learned his co-workers were likely dead.
