If you use them then turn around and complain about them being used on you is absolute irony. Smart glasses should never be used by anyone ever. You’re upset someone is recording you without your consent mean while meta is using everything you record to train its Ai.

Get over it. When you typically don’t need consent for posting videos of people in public.

You’re usually fine to post if:

The person is in a public space (street, park, event)
They’re not the main subject (just part of a crowd/background)
The video is used for news, commentary, or personal sharing (non-commercial)

There is no expectation of privacy in public, and nobody needs consent to to record you whether you are male or female.

I am a man, and I don’t give my consent to be filmed by anybody either. But it’s worse than that, it’s that they can immediately access information about your address, your family members, and anything else that AI can figure out about you. This data is immediately available to bad actors who are wearing smart glasses (or smart earbuds) with cameras.

Meta ray an and others have the light that can’t be turned off. Also you can’t block the light because the device won’t record or take pictures.

The are camera everywhere recording you. In front of people’s homes. Inside and outside stores, banks, restaurants, bars. Everywhere. There is no privacy.

6:18 “an LED light that activates so that its clear the device is recording…”. Its only clear to people who know about these devices. Recording with a traditional camera is obvious to most people. These glasses however are not widely recognized as recording devices. It is not “clear” when someone is using these glasses, especially when many people have no idea about this technology.
