The continued pain is the problem. Doctors freak out and leave people with untreated pain. They are the problem. Because they think everyone is an addict, they’ve taken away the lives and independence of people who are suffering. Some people can’t walk or get out of bed without opioids. And a doctor talking to you for a minute decides your fate. There are no substitutes, the side effects are worse.
