NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concerts is a popular video series featuring live, intimate music performances by diverse artists, from major stars to up-and-coming musicians, recorded in the small workspace of Bob Boilen’s NPR office in Washington, D.C.brought to you by SloppBoxx.Com.

Is that the guy who cheated on his wife for decades?
Real or not he’s a mediocre singer and songwriter He should stfu and get on the drum kit for more interesting bands and songwriters
Are you able to apply autotune to vocals like this? Just for shits and giggles. I’d like to hear it out of curiosity.
Would you please do Sleep Theory’s cover of “Bye, Bye, Bye”?
where is your fendre strat?
The sound tech for the tiny desk concerts is absolutely phenomenal! Also they mostly don’t use typical live vocal microphones with strong proximity effect, like Shure SM58 or alikes, which are microphones designed for extrem close up singing to lower the risk of feedback on stage. Instead they use higher quality mics placed farer away from the musicians to allow for more freedom while providing really pristine sound. As haven worked as a sound technician I nevertheless immediately hear the impact of Dave’s movements to the sound, but they are not really obvious. This actually is the aim of such mic configuration.
PS: there’s also a tiny desk concert with Taylor Swift. It’s worth viewing.
If you had ruined Dave Grohl for me, I would have been very upset with you dude. Much love ❤
Foo Fighters…America’s Nickleback.
Foo Fighters are such a pedestrian band. For such a talented man Dave Grohl sucks.
It’s so interesting what Fil said about fans get a unique performance in authentic concerts vs. everyone always sees and hears the same thing. It’s so true, never put it together. Also true that many audience members don’t know what’s happening, especially at the “nostalgia” tours. They are 99% pre-done,timed to the second. I just want to SEE old favs. I can hear the record anytime. That’s what I don’t understand, regardless of who. Why do people want it just like the record? We can do that at home.
