In this circumstance there can be no such thing as “peace talks.” There at four different competing factions in what’s left of the Iranian regime: 1) the parliamentary “elected” officials 2) the military 3) the theocratic mullahs and 4) the IRGC. No one can say which one will show up and if the other groups will necessarily agree with whatever agreement is reached, which will look like an agreement but isn’t. However in reality, talks are just a pretense, a stall for time. The view (encouraged by the American left) is that all Iran needs to do is wait it out until the midterms when the Dems take over the House and either stage another impeachment and/or cut off funding for the war. Then Iran can heave a sigh of relief and continue: the enrichment of uranium unto weapons grade, and accelerate the development of long-range ballistic missiles to deliver to Europe, Israel and the U.S. the apocalyptic payload. Nope, just f**k peace talks; the Iranians are not unified or serious in any event. Resume the bombing…ASAP.

Iran’s foreign minister Aragchi has meetings planned with Russia, Oman , Pakistan and CHINA. Not with USA. USA will be negotiating with themselves 😅
