Massachusetts mom Lindsay Clancy killed her three young children inside the family’s home in January 2023 before attempting to take her own life. Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, were found with exercise bands around their necks. Prosecutors contend Clancy intentionally strangled the children, while her defense argues she was suffering from severe postpartum depression and psychosis that left her unable to understand her actions. Jurors are expected to hear testimony from medical experts, investigators, and family members as they determine whether Clancy is criminally responsible for her children’s deaths.

This trial is pointless. I would let her go. Can there be a punishment worse than living with the memories of what she did, of her dying children. If she is not crazy she will kill herself. And if she is then she is not guilty anyway. But reaction of women is astonishing. Did they all lost maternal instinct?

Every single one of these women ought to be ashamed of themselves. I agree we need more advocacy for mental health but rallying behind a woman who killed her 3 kids is not the way. People can speak for her and act like they know exactly what she was going through and what was on her mind but the bottom line is we don’t know, she wasn’t diagnosed with psychosis that is only a claim, not a fact. This behavior is disgraceful and it makes me embarrassed to think THIS is feminism today, absolutely disgusting.
