Dr. Benjamin Kaufman described the efforts to save 8-month-old Callan Clancy’s life after he arrived at the emergency room. Kaufman testified that Callan was unable to breathe on his own and showed no signs of brain function as doctors administered lifesaving measures. He also told jurors that a Glasgow Coma Scale assessment determined Callan was comatose. Lindsay Clancy is accused of killing her three young children with exercise bands inside their Massachusetts home.

Psychosis is extremely dangerous. Its like a alternate reality. One does not perceive things for what they are. Add paranoia on top of that. Ive had it and its frightening. Especially after it passes and then realize it wasn’t just a crazy thought or bad dream. You hallucinate too. Severe insomnia and loss of time. And worse, once it gets too far along, you cant even help yourself so relying on others to recognize it becomes important. Lindsey reached out to doctors numerous times. She did not intentionally unalive them. It is so much more complicated than many can comprehend. I seriously feel for her situation. She has to live with this result of her doing and never seeing her kids for the rest of her life. I guarantee she needs a lifetime of monitoring and treatment.
Why doesnt the defense bring up he was cheating on her with a mistress in NYC? Without her mental problems, this action of THIS MAN would show motive and how he planned this all out to pin her for the murder of their children, so he could go be with the mistress.
