Ariana Grande drops out of the upcoming West End revival of Stephen Sondheim’s ‘Sunday in the Park with George,’ which she was set to star in alongside ‘Wicked’ co-star Jonathan Bailey next summer. The production released a statement confirming the news and wishing her ‘nothing but the best.’ This comes as Ariana announced plans to take a step back from the spotlight once her ‘Eternal Sunshine Tour’ wraps in September, amid a flurry of fan concern over the star’s health due to her frail appearance. In a statement to ET, the singer’s rep said, ‘She looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny.’
