KATSEYE’s Sophia Laforteza visits Disneyland every day amid her hiatus from the band to focus on her mental health. Sophia’s mom, Carla Guevara Laforteza, a musical theater actress, tells ‘Vogue Philippines,’ her daughter is working hard on her recovery by baking, painting and visiting Disneyland every day. Carla says, ‘She’s literally doing everything to get mentally well.’ Sophia announced her break from the group earlier this month, revealing in a statement she needs time away to take care of her mind and body so she can continue doing what she loves. The 23-year-old singer appears in KATSEYE’s music videos for singles off their most recent EP, ‘Wild,’ but she’s been absent from all promotional appearances.
