The Greeks ground up chick peas with garlic and spices in their cuisine long before Arabs migrated to the Levant (Syria, Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, and Jordan) soft brained anti-Semite. There’s different variations of hummus all over the Middle East to enjoy.

Bro, who the hell likes hummus bro? Like who says “Lets go out to eat hummus tonight”. Nobody says that. Who would rather go eat hummus then go to McDonald’s and get a double quarter pounder with cheese combo? NOBODY. No disrespect to anyone by the way. Im just telling you bro. I never had hummus my whole life until today. And i hated it. One and done son. So thats why i came on youtube to see what do you even eat hummus with. Like hummus is just a dipping sauce. But the worst tasting dipping sauce. Again, no disrespect. But damn, my whole life i never ate hummus, just ate it because someone told me to eat it cuz its in the fridge. And bruh, really? Hummus is crap son. Theres literally no way possible for it to taste good. And even looking up here on youtube how to eat it and what to eat it with, theres NO videos saying how to eat or what your “supposed” to eat it with. The world would not skip a beat if hummus never existed. Thank you for your time. The next challenge video needs to be “Lets see if we can change Popcorns mind on hummas.” Thats mission impossible. But i guarantee nobody can make hummus so good that i would rather go get hummus tonight to eat then McDonald’s. Challenge is out there, unfortunately, you guys know im right, but wont admit it. 🤣✌️

    Am Yisrael Chai!
    Recipe:
    Makes 4 cups

    Ingredients
    1 garlic clove
    1 lemon, juiced
    1 (16-ounce|454-gram) jar tehina
    1 tablespoon kosher salt
    1 teaspoon ground cumin
    1- 1 ½ cups|236-355 ml ice cold water
2 (15-ounce|425-gram) cans chickpeas, rinsed and drained

    Directions
    1. Nick off a piece of the garlic (about ¼ of the clove) and drop it into a food processor.

    2. Squeeze the lemon juice into the food processor. Pour the tehina on top, making sure to scrape it all out of the container, and add the salt and cumin.

    3. Process until the mixture looks peanut-buttery, about 1 minute.
Stream in the ice water, a little at a time, with the motor running.

    4. Process just until the mixture is smooth and creamy and lightens to the color of dry sand.

    5. Add the chickpeas and process for about 3 minutes, scraping the sides of the bowl as you go, until the chickpeas are completely blended and the hummus is smooth and uniform in color.
