Is this the future of rap beefs? Is Drake over after this? Is this move going to affect Drake’s career? Drake has filed two legal actions accusing music giant UMG—the company he’s currently in a deal with—and streaming service Spotify of conspiring to artificially inflate Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” numbers by means of bots and payola. This is not an official lawsuit yet, but rather pre-action petitions.
The rapper is also accusing UMG of defamation and claiming the company funneled payments to iHeartRadio in a pay-to-play scheme to promote “Not Like Us” on radio.
What do you think this means for the future of rap?

who?
Drake has never lost a beef.
I think XXL maxed out in 2016 and hasn’t done anything good sense. (Excluding putting X on 17’)
