For those of you who don’t know, the Kuwait Airport is basically a big Shopping Mall with airplanes.
It is usually packed with civilians who may be there to fly, may be there to shop, may be there to get out of the heat & take the kids somewhere safe.
The picture you see, is from the Central Terminal. I was there several times during OEF/OIF.
This was 100% a CIVILIAN TARGET.
Big Airports tend to be away from everything else in a City & take up a lot of space for air flight reasons.
This was NOT a stray missile, this was a Targeted Attack, on Civilians, that hit the bullseye.
This was 100% a Targeted Attack on a CIVILIAN TARGET.
