“As a human being, I cannot remain silent. Reintroducing the death penalty in Israel, especially when it targets one specific people (Palestinians), is a return to the darkest pages of history. This is a form of modern nationalism and colonialist policy that must be stopped. Germany and the West, who claim to have learned the lessons of the past, have no right to remain silent now. We are all humans first, and human rights must not depend on nationality. No to the death penalty! No to discrimination! Stop this shame before it’s too late
