Yeah for running backs Idc about catching stats. When I think about the best backs I never think “Barry sure had hands” or “Did you see Walter catch that ball?!” Also what running back is in the Hof right now that we think of as a dual threat at an extremely high level. When I really think about running backs catching I think about them catching screens and taking it the distance.
Faulk is kinda the first one I think. I really think he got mixed up on the meaning of elite. Bro was giving examples of the most versatile RBs NOT the most elite.

So… you don’t understand what the word elite means. It just means “best of the best.” I think in your mind you think it means versatile, elusive backs or ability to be used in multiple ways. If you are talking elite no one in this generation comes close prolly since AP but Henry already had a better career. If you are talking who’s elite the points that should matter are YPC, total career yards, tds, how many 1k yard seasons etc.
