I used to really enjoy his videos. I think i was the ideal target audience – i earned enough, but wasted money on loads of little things. I really started saving when i would hear him in my head yelling “going into the gas station, getting some bullshit!” And “you want it, you don’t neeeeed it”. Cant stand it any more! I have Shawna Ripari now 🙂

I think it’s hilarious that people taking financial advice from him who’s been in debt. That’s like taking relationship advice from someone who’s been divorced multiple times. 😂 Or maybe get advice from someone who’s never been in debt and get relationship advice from someone who’s been married to the same person for years and years.

The amount of “advice” for financially vulnerable people that amounts to “Have you thought of not being poor” is both infuriating and confounding; I have assume a vast amount of it is also needed to justify people being immeasurably richer that others, since it’s easier than provide an actual look into their material conditions. The “advice” also being used for scams makes it more infuriationg on the grand scale of things, though.
