I hate fish too
Wait until you eat in Japan. Their seafood– ALL POSSIBLE KINDS– has no gross smell, no matter how it’s cooked. Sushi has absolutely no scent. I was totally shocked by Japanese seafood. And delighted. It’s the only country where I’ll confidently order something that’s seafood/fresh water (or even eel!!)
I think this is similar to many Asian countries…and possibly African too? I’d love people from those continents to chime in and share their cultural culinary experiences. Perhaps I’m entirely mistaken.
