Today would have been Nolan Wells’ 19th birthday. More than a month after the 18-year-old disappeared during a Fourth of July trip to Horn Island, Mississippi, questions remain about how he died.
Now, there are new developments in the investigation.
The Congressional Black Caucus is urging the Department of Justice to review Nolan Wells’ death, and ABC News reports that the DOJ has received the request and is reviewing it before deciding whether to take further action.
According to family attorney Ben Crump, Nolan’s family is also requesting a meeting with the district attorney regarding a joint examination of Nolan’s cell phone — the phone that returned from Horn Island on the boat with his friends while Nolan did not.
Meanwhile, a grand jury is reviewing Nolan’s original autopsy and toxicology report, which have not yet been publicly released.

Why is this case more special than any other case? Why do they get a joint investigation of the phone? Ive had family die, murdered and it was ignored. So this boy is more important why? Hes not , they just have money hungry racist like Crump and Sharpton behind it. Disgusting
