An update has been released in the investigation into the death of Melissa Casias.
According to reporting by LA Mag, New Mexico State Police have identified the handgun found near Melissa Casias’ remains as a black Springfield handgun. Officials confirmed the firearm is registered but have not revealed who it belongs to or whether it played any role in Melissa’s death. Her cause and manner of death remain undetermined.

She supposedly according to Mark drove w her to work and he said she showed I’d at work ..but she went home case forgot id??? daughter said she doesn’t own gun but photos show her sierra and Mark w guns on hunting guide pages and sierra and Melissa’s social media
