i wrote a college paper about latino marginalization in hip-hop, specifically puerto ricans. dj charlie chase is a legend and i’m so grateful i dove deep and learned about rap’s roots. black americans, black caribbeans, puerto ricans, and everyone who was around then contributed to what it’s become!
