Amanda Seyfried landed in the hot seat after her appearance in the latest Elizabeth Holmes documentary unleashed a wave of criticism online. Seyfried surprised viewers when she appeared alongside Nathan Fielder in “You Can See Everything,” a documentary that followed Holmes in the last 34 days leading up to the start of her prison sentence. Stepping back into Holmes’ shoes for the documentary, Seyfried helped Fielder recreate conversations he had with the disgraced Theranos founder after she reported to prison.

Its labelled documentary not film
Take pride in obeying the law and doing what is right. Prison is the worst.
I’m looking forward to see the doc. I didn’t like the series
” Liz ” controlled by men 🤨 W.T.F……it was men she duped out of tens if not hundreds of millions of dollars as C.E.O. of Theranos. As my dad used to say ” give your head a shake “
Oh, terrific!
I’m cataloging my purchase of her film “Letters to Juliet” at the moment.
So I thought to look up one of her music videos and this just came to my attention.
Nice!
I’m both interested in her performance and the story that’s being told here.
Stop flipping the narrative. Elizabeth wants to achieve something in life and acted on this project which eventually is bogus and caused harm. So she needs to do prison time. That’s it. Let’s not paint her as innocent and victimized by this and that. She may be the kindest out there but it does not erase what she has done. Period.
What a weird hit-piece.
I rarely say things like this, but this is a ludicrous indictment of Seyfried, alleging some sort of widespread “backlash” against the actress, because she, what?
Pointed out that Eliz Holmes—a teenage victim of r*pe, could’ve been highly manipulated &fed false data by her decades-older b/f for his hoped-for positional & financial benefit when they began & ran Theranos, while still being unquestionably guilty of fraud. What else was her big sin? Agreeing to take part in a documentary, recreating her “Dropout” role, a film people now can’t stop talking about?
I hate to say it, but it appears the Post’s right-leaning bias is clearly on display with this odd piece.
