Wynonna Judd reveals she and sister Ashley are ‘taking a break’ from one another, in a new interview with ‘People.’ Their estrangement comes four years after the death of their mother, Naomi Judd, who died by suicide. Wynonna tells the outlet, ‘We’re taking a break, which all families can relate to. She’s doing her thing, and I’m doing mine.’

I wonder why?? That’s obvious Wynonna treated Naomi like crap in was completely rude and cruel to her. Cutting her out of the duo and making cactus part of that which is absurd. You can totally tell he’s a complete lowlife loser. Wynonna is completely blind to it. Just watch the documentary on them and see how cruel Wynonna is to Naomi. Which is funny because Wynonna is completely lazy and she will not be famous if it wasn’t for her mom

The heading is untrue. They are taking a break, either may call one another at any time. There is no “Not talking”. Fake NEWS

I love Ashley, but I think she has their mom’s same judgmental persona and I find that it still lingers today. Following their mother’s death, Ashley did an interview where every sentence was I and me, not we. It makes perfect sense that there is a disconnect following their mother’s death. Siblings are given to each other, not chosen. My father hasn’t been in my life since I was 25 years old and I am 52 now. After the divorce, he literally left my brothers and I behind. My two youngest brothers at the time were 9 and 10. They are 34 and 35 now. The eldest brother is 49. It broke us inside, but our Mom was the strength, the core, the heart of the family who picked up (WITHOUT alimony and child support [she rejected when he relinquished full custody of my two youngest brothers to her] where things left off an raised my brothers. However, A LOT of the spite and bitterness we’ve all held onto has created division and as people do, they move out, get married, have kids, build careers, and move on. I don’t speak to the eldest brother at all, I rarely speak to the older of the two youngest brothers (mostly because of his wife), and I am at COMPLETE ODDS with thee baby brother. This happens ALL the time. Our mom is 69-yeears young and still going, but I tell her God forbid the day we lose her, the strife will continue and in fact ties will likely be severed forever. It’s heartbreaking, but it’s our reality. I am the Wynonna in my family (wild, outspoken, unapologetic, loner with Ashley’s education). I am almost ALWAYS painted as the villain for having a black/white view on life. People hate the truth, but I tell no lies.

It’s just hard when family members are going in different directions. I’m going through that right now and I do not have a problem with it.

There are many families where there are family members that aren’t close anymore and these two women just happen to be in the public eye.I did see an interview where Wy said she reached out to Ashley but hasn’t heard back so maybe in time they will reconnect because they both have experienced real pain especially Ash since she was there when her mother shot herself.
