Sue Bird is one of the best WNBA/NCAA sports commentators on air. Her deep understanding of the sport, with a keen insights into how teams/team ownership navigate franchise expansion, recruitment, and individual performance metrics, are second none. She informs without resorting to that buffoonery that ex-athletes (usually male) employ to get more eyeballs. People appreciate her honesty, her clear explanations/observations. Her authenticity is a major reason that I started following her podcasts last year.

I totally disagree with Bird. I use to really support her and enjoyed watching her play back in the day. However I lost ALL respect for her when she trashed talked CC from the beginning. I was so disappointed in her. Even now when she she tries to say something nice about CC you can tell by the look on her face she doesn’t mean it. I’m sorry Bird but you’re just JEALOUS like MILLer is. You really let me down…
