That stat about sugar being 1/7th of an American kid’s daily diet is wild. I had no idea it started so early with baby food pouches—really makes you think about what we’re feeding them before they can even choose.

It doesn’t, these are all lies. You trying to say the FDA and USDA and our HEALTH EXPERTS don’t know what they’re doing, this is part of LONG RESEARCH on what is recommended for each person to eat. Trust the science and the authorities, you don’t have to think about it, that’s the best part they’re doing it for us. Ultra-processed means ULTRA HEALTHY AND COST EFFECTIVE. Eat as many grains/carbs/fruits as you can, consume as much seed oil as you can for cooking , its hearth healthy

Heat destroys about half the nutrients out the gate. Adding vitamins back doesn’t stop nutrient loss over time. Nasa and natick have learned this the hard way

I don’t remember giving my kids snacks when they were young. I gave them homemade sweet potato, banana or rice with spinach and chicken mashed or blended. As they grow slightly older, I feed them homemade chicken soup with broccoli and other colorful vegetables. They only drink water. They don’t really take candies or snacks either.

PEOPLE HAVE BECOME SO FRIKKIN LAZY THAT THEY CAN’T EVEN FEED THEIR CHILDREN WELL—plus they probably eat alot of shite themselves…. I raised 3 kids alone, and very little processed food was served (When they they were on their own, I mostly stopped cooking for a few years- for a while)
