President Donald Trump will be the first US leader in almost a decade to visit China when he lands in Beijing on Wednesday. His much-anticipated summit with President Xi Jinping — delayed from March due to the Iran war — offers the leaders of the world’s two largest economies a chance to reset personal ties and look for common ground on trade, technology and a range of other contentious topics.

Henrietta Treyz, Director of Economic Policy at Veda Partners, joins Bloomberg Intelligence to preview the high-profile meeting.

It’s not just MAGA that wants Trump to serve another term; Xi and Putin want that too. Because most of the stupid things he did, they’re very good for them.

What happens if either Xi or Trump has a health crisis? Will the meeting continue with the 17 executives? Or will they all stop and tend to the dying leader?

Nothing is going right. 😂 Everything he sold us on to get elected is getting worse. Except immigration Ill grant him that yes. But everything else is getting so expensive. People are struggling and he’s promises of a President of peace has been shattered. Now Trump wants to obliterate everything and every one. What the fock happened?

All these American corporations going to China with Trump are wasting their time…China will never open their markets to these Western companies any more..China doesn’t need or want anything from America and now China is building their own native tech industries…they are wasting their time. And Citibank and Visa are definitely wasting their time..China will never open their financial market to the West so Chinese people loose their savings and become in terrible debt…China will never open their financial markets to the West…they are wasting their time. This is the myth of white supremacy on display…America it is OVER!!!!!!
