A few million years ago i talked to a red dwarf star she seemed very distant and cold.
she was one of the first stars to ever be born and due to how red dwarfs work she is able to last a very long time.
its kinda sad I asked her about how it was being a red dwarf. she told me she didn’t like it. I asked why as why would you not want see the universe age and see all the stars and things that would come to exist.

She answered that was the issue the fact that she’s going to see everything come and go. Every star she knows every planet every moon every organic thing will come and go. She told me how it was interesting to meet so many stars and get to know so many things but at some point she grew tired of seeing them all die out while she stayed alive continuing to fuse hydrogen.

I asked her what she thought about stars like me the ones that don’t last to long. She thought we were interesting but try’s to keep her distance from us as we don’t last to long which is true. She finds it neat how we get things done so fast how we can complete our goals in such a sort time. Her guess being that since we don’t have much time to exist we have more of an insensitive to get things done.
After that we stopped talking and I have tried to talk to her again but she didn’t really wish to have a long conversation and I understand why so I’ve left her alone.
