Duane “Keffe D” Davis, who is accused of orchestrating the 1996 murder of rap icon Tupac Shakur, is scheduled to go on trial in Las Vegas Monday, August 10.

Prosecutors accuse Davis of ordering the fatal shooting as retaliation for a brawl that broke out on a casino floor shortly before Shakur was killed.

Authorities have also pointed to comments Davis made in several media interviews as evidence of his alleged involvement in the killing.

The filing identifies more than 200 potential witnesses. Some notable names listed are:

Marion “Suge” Knight: Former Death Row Records CEO. He was in the passenger seat of the car the night Shakur was shot in Las Vegas.
Former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman
Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo: Served in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department at the time.
Former LAPD Detective Greg Kading: Claims Davis confessed to his involvement during a 2009 interview with law enforcement.
Several family members of Shakur

Tupac probably looking at this from Cuba and laughing his butt off. Hopeful thinking. How is it that Tupac is fighting in white attire but the photo in the car is different attire?

Tupac was the bomb diggity. 25 is too young to die. He was a huge influence on the Black Panther movement, and that’s why he is dead!!! It may have been a government hit. Who knows. That’s my 2cents worth. All the witnesses are dead, so how can they prove anything? Where are the facts? A book can be fictional, not proof of murder. There is a ghostwriter, he said. We will NEVER KNOW THE TRUTH OF 2PAC OR BIGGIE’S MURDERS. NEVER!!! Tupac was a musical icon and will be forever. However, he did have a dark side. He messed with the wrong people. That’s what got him killed. Tupac stepped in doo doo. You can’t do that in America. I don’t think any gang leader should get out of jail because they still have the power to lead gangsters. CAN’T WE PUT AN END TO ALL THIS CRIMINAL GANGSTER CRAP NOW? OVER IT!!! Sadly, so many die from the gang crap. They die for crime. WTH!!!!! It makes no sense to me.
