Isaac Apodaca is set to stand trial on allegations that he conspired with his girlfriend to kill his ex-girlfriend, 21-year-old Grace Jennings, in a brutal sword attack. Prosecutors say Jennings was stabbed multiple times and nearly decapitated, while evidence recovered from Apodaca’s phone allegedly includes messages detailing plans to kill her and dispose of evidence after the murder.

I do not understand why defense attorneys do not just defend and make sure laws are followed fairly. Not to try to get clients off who they know are guilty. There would be far less horrific crimes . I wonder what the stats are on defendants who have gotten off who go on to commit more murders….
