Just the whole wonderous city and fortress the water movement through the aqueducts, and I believe this was like underwater. Under possibly freshwater that didn’t dry up , but went down underground. This is evident because of the rounded outcrops and top of the mountainous plateaus. Easily shaped by hand into hand which I believe came from came springs that dried up and this is when they moved on. Not enough rain in its position where Petra was the same as it is now as when they built the Petra I believe in these ancient times they did have extremely different languages but all knew each other in peaceful times as a race of the children of God. We don’t know if a solar blast changed the topography. It was possibly much greener just 700 ago built the city in say twenty years and then climatic change happens where Lord isn’t always on board with dedicated sacrifices that are not asked for by beings of the heavens but for man’s desires incorporated with religious belief. They may have been wiped out due to another greed event along with not noticing Christs Magical ability and Jesus fed a whole culture on Manna. No money for forty days needed. Makes us all think about our ancestors mistakes that were almost inviting lord back to earth to teach again, physically, but just fell short when the people bowed down to material objects not necessarily reflecting the homosapiens lives that our Lord thought they were already on board with and understood. Men, using brain , not their brain yet again. See those cities in the sea built structures not for theirs or their children’s comfort but for their dictator. So sad how many bows down so easily because it’s obviously easier than rebellious behaviour that would meet with soldiers paid well to keep the dictators way of life.
